FASS-DRI is a fast-drying pavement sealer additive featuring advanced Nano-Cure technology. Compatible with coal tar emulsions, asphalt emulsions and blended pavement sealers, FASS-DRI accelerates drying and curing times so contractors can reopen parking lots to traffic sooner. Under favorable conditions, treated areas may be ready for traffic in as little as 30 minutes.
FASS-DRI also contains a sand suspension additive (SSA) that keeps sand evenly distributed throughout the sealer mixture. This formula reduces sand rollout, tracking and power steering marks while improving the toughness of the finished sealer film and producing a darker black finish.

Fast-Drying Sealer Additive
Surface Preparation
Proper surface preparation is essential for a long-lasting sealcoat. For newly paved asphalt surfaces, allow a minimum curing time of four weeks under ideal weather conditions (around 70°F) before applying. All surfaces must be clean and free of loose material, dirt and dust.
Mixing Procedures
Add 2 gallons of FASS-DRI per 100 to 150 gallons of pavement sealer concentrate. Add water and sand according to the sealer manufacturer’s recommendations.
With the tank agitator running, add water to the sealer concentrate, followed by thoroughly mixed FASS-DRI. Slowly add sand while maintaining agitation. FASS-DRI does not require pre-dilution.
Application
Apply pavement sealer fortified with FASS-DRI using spray equipment, a squeegee or brush. Lightly dampen the pavement with a water fog spray before application without leaving puddles.
Apply a second coat once the first coat can withstand traffic without scuffing. Check the finished surface for traffic readiness before reopening the pavement.

Important:
Temperatures must be above 50°F during application and remain so for at least 24 hours afterward. Do not apply when rain is imminent or forecast.

Before Sealcoating:
- Fill pavement cracks with SealMaster hot-pour or cold-applied crack filler
- Treat grease, oil and gasoline stains with SealMaster PetroSeal or PrepSeal
- Remove dirt, dust, and loose material from the pavement surface
