MasterSeal Ultra is a clay-stabilized asphalt emulsion pavement sealer designed to protect and beautify asphalt pavement. Pre-blended with water, aggregate and polymer, its ready-to-apply, higher-solids formula reduces jobsite mixing and material handling while providing added durability and slip resistance. MasterSeal Ultra replenishes binder lost through weathering and aging while forming a protective barrier against moisture, UV rays, chemicals and salt. It also restores faded asphalt with a deep, rich black finish.

Surface Preparation
Proper surface preparation is essential for a long-lasting, successful sealcoat. For newly paved asphalt surfaces, allow a minimum curing time of four weeks under ideal weather conditions (around 70°F) before applying. All surfaces must be clean and free of loose material, dirt and dust.
Before Sealcoating:
- Fill pavement cracks with SealMaster hot-pour or cold-applied crack filler
- Treat grease, oil and gasoline stains with SealMaster PetroSeal or PrepSeal
- Remove dirt, dust and loose material from the pavement surface
Mixing Procedures
Mix MasterSeal Ultra thoroughly before application. If needed, a small amount of water may be added to facilitate application.
Application
For optimum performance and durability, apply a minimum of two coats of MasterSeal Ultra.
A third coat may be applied in high-traffic areas such as parking lot entrances, exits and drive lanes for added durability. Allow each coat to dry thoroughly before applying the next coat. After the final application, allow 24 hours before opening the pavement to vehicle traffic.
Important:
Temperatures must be above 50°F during application and remain so for at least 24 hours afterward. Do not apply when rain is imminent or forecast.
Coverage
When properly mixed and applied, one gallon of MasterSeal Ultra will cover approximately 70-82 sq. ft. per coat or 7.75-9.1 sq. yd. per coat.
